What is RIPDocs?

Remote Image Printed Documents – RIPDocs^® for short – is Lake Michigan Mailers’ solution to the chore of designing, printing and distributing documents like statements, invoices, notices, coupons, business correspondence and more.

How does RIPDocs^® work?

It’s simple and hassle free! Just send us your information via e-mail, secured ftp or on media, and we can take it from there. Your documents are created, folded, inserted, and mailed within hours. Lake Michigan Mailers provides everything: forms and paper, envelopes – the works.

Is the special training or software required?

No! Using RIPDocs^® is as simple as clicking a mouse. There’s no software to buy and no training needed.

Will RIPDocs^® work with PDF-formatted files?

Yes! RIPDocs^® works with virtually any current or legacy software or file format including flat files, CSV files, line date, print image files, MSWord files and PDF-formatted files. If you have a file you would like to use, please contact us. There is never any charge or obligation to evaluate your file format.

Are there restrictions on schedules or quantities?

No! We will work with you to produce your documents to meet your schedule. We’ll print them and send them out within hours. RIPDocs^® operates on your schedule not ours. There are no minimum quantity requirements for using RIPDocs.

Can we keep using our current forms?

Yes! We can print your documents using your current forms. RIPDocs^® also gives you’re the opportunity to redesign your existing forms, and the capability to add customized, personalized messages to your forms.

Will RIPDocs^® allow us to e-mail our personalized documents?

Yes! When you are ready for electronic bill presentment (EBP), RIPDocs^® will be ready.

Is RIPDocs^® a secure alternative to printing and assembling documents in-house?

All of our RIPDocs^® related services are SAS 70 compliant and meet or exceed industry-best practices for encryption and data security.
